Kutch is a district of Gujarat state in western India. White “Rann” (Desert) is very famous in Kutchh. People from every corner of the world are visiting this area for “Rann” (White Desert). Kutchh district enhances the beauty of Gujarat. Tourism of Gujrat organizes “Rann Utsav” every year, because visitors say visiting Kutchh is amazing experience and this is unforgettable event and pleasure. In Kutchh area the most important and astonishing event is “Rann Utsav”. Visitors are eager to participate in this event called “Rann Utsav” and they lives in Tent/Darbari. North part of Kutchh is the Great Rann - it has many moods and appearances which change from sunrise to sunset. Salt crystals dazzle like millions of diamonds under the scratching sun. Its still vastness is strange under the bluish glow of the full moon. During a thunderstorm at night it flashes brilliantly. Rann has vast area about 4000 kms. Kutch is biggest District in India ( 45,000 sq kms including Rann ). Kutch had its own language 'Kutchhi' few Gujarati leave alone else in India can understand it. Surprisingly 'Kutchhi' don't have lipi. Kutch had its own currency the Kori - Dhingala and Dokda not Rupiya - anna - pai prevailed rest of India. Kutch has a 55 cow Shelter house possessing 7000 acre lands and more than one lac & cows get shelter. Kutchi gives about Rupees 100 crore donations per annum. Covering an area of 45,652 kms it is the largest district of India. The recent movie (“Ramleela) was inspired on Kutchh culture and lifestyle.
